Description: Centene Corporation is hiring Specialty Therapist (SUPERIOR HEALTH PLAN) right now, this position will be assigned in Texas. More complete informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. Position Purpose:
Perform utilization review of authorization requests regarding specialty therapy services (speech-language, occupational, and physical therapy) across the identified regions and products. Assist with training and network management support for therapy providers.

Knowledge/Experience:
Master’s Degree in area of specialty therapy or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of experience in healthcare or home health settings. Pediatric clinical experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: Current license in area of specialty therapy (physical, occupational or speech-language. For speech-language, must have an active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform utilization review of therapy services, identify and refer members to case management
• Provide clinical oversight and technical support for therapy authorization services in utilization management
• Provide support for specialty therapy providers, including clinical trainings, consultation and guidance on matters related to service authorization, provision, and evidence-based practices
• Perform detailed reviews and clinical analysis of regional requests and claims expense for services, as well as recommendations for continuation or discharge from services
• Assist in clinical operations and provider relations support for the processing of regional service authorizations and claims payment
