Description: Driscoll Children's Hospital is at present looking to employ Social Worker-CARE Team right now, this job will be assigned in Texas. Detailed specification about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Provides direct social work treatment to individual patients and their families involving emotionally support, counseling, and evaluation of social problems. Consults! with attending physicians, house medical staff and other patient care staff concerning psychosocial aspects of patient care. Familiarity with resources for children of all ages specifically related to medical services preferred. One year experience working in pediatric health care preferred.
Bachelor’s degree (BSW) or Master’s degree (MSW) a program accredited by the Council on Social Work. Licensed Social Worker in the State of Texas required. Evening shift and every other weekend.
