The OR RN Circulator will deliver nursing care to patients undergoing surgical intervention. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Ability to work with other mem! bers of the healthcare team to meet patient needs. Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with patients, families, coworkers, employees, supervisor and other hospital employees.
DUTIES
Delivers nursing care to patients undergoing surgical intervention ranging in age from pediatric to geriatric. Is cross trained to provide post-anesthesia care. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Current Texas Registered Nurse license and ACLS required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Delivers nursing care to patients undergoing surgical intervention ranging in age from pediatric to geriatric. Is cross trained to provide post-anesthesia care. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Maintains regulatory agency requiremen! ts, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards.
