- Discover various opportunities for data acquisitions and exploring new ways of using data
- Design, construct, implement and deliver, transformation and integration solutions of high-volume data sets leveraging streaming, and other emerging technologies on our Big Data Plattform (Apache Hadoop on Cloudera)
- Leverage Kafka, Hive, Spark Streaming, etc. to ingest and transform data at scale
- Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures
- Maintain, optimize and extend applications for scheduling and monitoring
- Optimize data flows and data transformation
- Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices
- Learn and apply new tools and technologies
- Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, data scientists and IT team members on delivering stories in an agile environment
Anforderungsprofil:
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, MIS, or Information Management
- Expericence with Cloudera Ecosystem
- Software engineering skills (analyze, design, develop and test)
- Professional experience in developing solutions in Python & Spark
- Knowledge of Hive & HQL, Kafka, Sqoop, Python, Spark, Java, Airflow, Yarn,…
- Experience with building stream-processing systems
- Track record of developing technology to enable large scale data transformation
- Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources.
- Basic knowledge of Git, SQL and optimization techniques
- Excellent written and oral skills in English

We will agree on your salary based on your qualifications and experience in line with the market. The gross annual salary according to the collective agreement for telecom companies is at least € 43.785,- (40 hours/week). Experience shows that the actual salary is at least € 55.000,-.
