1. Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics or Board eligible with anticipation of Board Certification within two years of hire.
2. Eligibility for Medical Licensure in the State of Texas

Specific Job Related Duties
The primary clinical responsibility is the care for children with Genetic disorders. Duties include but are not limited to primary clinical responsibilities in both inpatient and outpatient care in the area of Pediatric Genetic clinic sites on and off the main UTMB Galveston campus. Clinic assignment may be changed depending on the extent of assigned educator research or administrative responsibilities and clinical demands. Other duties may include conduction of scholarly activities in either teaching, clinical research or basic research.
