SPEECH THERAPIST - HOME HEALTH
Schedule: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Shift: Flexible
QUALIFICAITONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Certification in clinical competency
- Current license in Speech Therapy as required by state law.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS Certification
- Current Texas Driver’s License and automobile insurance required
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred
- Ability to manage effectively and demonstrat! e leadership qualities
- Clinical experience in home he! alth preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to perform tasks involving minimal physical activity including lifting, standing and bending
1. You are expected to be available to work during all office hours and/or after-hours work functions.
2. Fully knowledgeable on the subject of Hospice and Home Healthcare, as well as applicable services provided.
3. Speech Therapist to treat a variety of impairments and disabilities in children and adults.
4. To create plan of care to achieve written short term and long term goals.
5. Implement clients’ needs in therapy including language, voice, fluency, articulation, or hearing
6. Coordinating other patient care activities/services to provide the highest quality of patient care in the geographic service area to which he/she is assigned Schedule new patient and follow up appointm! ents, verify patient appointments.
7. Speech Language Pathologist also collect data, prepare charts, recording clinical and progress notes, and perform other support duties.
Occupational Therapist Assistants â€" Home Health
Schedule: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Shift: Flexible
Therapist - Designs occupational therapy programs and sets goals for each patient.
1. Administers occupational therapy care programs or portions of programs.
2. Provides instructions in therapeutic procedures to be continued by patient and family.
3. Evaluates, records, and reports on patient's progress for review by members of care team.
4. Maintains patient records and charts to ensure accurate record of treatment.
5. Identifies patient's occupational therapy needs to achieve long and short-term goals to meet needs.
6. Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement Program.
7. Performs other duti! es as assigned
Requirements:
Associates degree is r! equired.
**Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation, Driver's License and Licensed Occupational Therapist is required.**
