Bilingual CSR II- Pediatric Surgery Medical Center Responsibilities: Answer phones and direct callers appropriately. Schedule appointments and obtain proper demographics from patient in regard to insurance and billing information. Create files and maintain medical records. Handle the referral process, authorizations, charge entry, batch maintenance, and pre-certifications. Provide proper information to the patient in regard to their financial responsibility and offer financial counseling if needed. Insurance verificat! ion. Requirements: High school diploma or general education de! gree (GED); two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines in regard to patient information.
