Purpose:
To manage patient diet ! orders, tray tickets, tray service, galley service and communi! cation about diets in a manner developmentally appropriate for the ages of patients served (0-18 years) to insure accurate meal service. This is a flexible position that may include rotation to other Patient Service positions.
Knowledge
Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is knowledge of basic diets and introductory computer skills.
Skills
Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is the ability to utilize computers and kitchen equipment.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required. One year food service experience in an institutional or health care setting required. College course work or specialized food service training can substitute for food service experience.
