One Step Staffing is looking for Pediatric Nurses to staff an expansion for a Pediatric unit at Dallas, TX area hospital. Qualified candidates will possess the following: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred and required within 3 years of hire1 year pediatric experience required.Current TX RN licensure (or compact)Current AHA BCLS & PALSKnowledge of computer documentation; good keyboard skills; working knowledge of the care and management of the patient in the settingMust possess the ability to m! aintain a high degree of confidentiality, positive interperson! al skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: Incorporates the nursing care process in the assessment of, diagnosis, intervention, identification, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care for optimal outcomes.Practices within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act. Serves as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care. Possesses organizational skills to function successfully in a fast paced work environment.• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to improve processes that promote continuity of care• Provide high quality patient care by evaluating and assessment of patient needs• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well coordinated patient care• Serve as a patient/family advocate by seeking opportunities to instruct and educate patients and families about various medical conditionsDelivers patient care utilizing the Nursing Process1. A! ssesses the patient2. Plans the care of the patient3. Intervenes as appropriate4. Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions5. ReassessesFosters teamwork ,collaboration and communication. Works effectively and productively with all members of the patient care team, including other disciplines and physicians
