What the role is
You will be given the opportunity to be part of a high-performing team that undertakes in-depth research work that is aimed at helping the ministry gain a better understanding of public sentiments across key clusters of Government. The team’s role is to leverage evidenced-based approaches to advise senior management on key policy, programme and communication interventions.
What you will be working on
To succeed in this role, you will also need have an objective and evaluative mind to provide rational perspectives on public policy issues, to develop partnerships with key agencies, and effectively tap into a range of research tools.
What we are looking for
- Able to communicate and relate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience with all stages of the research process, from research design through to analysis and reporting, in quantitative and/or qualitative research methods
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess initiative and able to work independently and efficiently
- Interest in communications and public policy issues
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- A background in social science research (e.g., Majoring in Communications, Political Science, Psychology, or Economics) is a plus, but not required.
